I have a new brand of nail polish to share with you! Trying out new kinds of nail polish is so exciting, because I love to see how they compare to my favorites! Today I have five colors to show you from Salma Hayek's cosmetics line, "Nuance". Here they are:
This is the prettiest cherry red color, with a hint of orange. This is my favorite in the collection, which is funny because I don't usually like reds.
This color is prettier than it looks in the picture and it's not quite as dark in person. It's a nice lilac creme.
This was the only color that really needed 2 coats for full coverage, possibly 3 coats. It's ok, but there isn't anything really special about this soft pink color.
This one is a magenta color that reminds me of a color I would wear when I was a kid. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, because I still like the shimmery purplish-pink color!
This is a really great coral color. In my opinion, it's the perfect summer shade!
So, the verdict is...I really like it! I used only ONE coat for these, with the exception of the light pink polish. I would probably add a second coat if I were keeping it on my nails for the week, but you could definitely get away with only one coat. I also like how it applies really evenly and dries to a really shiny finish!
Sorry the photos aren't the best...that's what happens when you wait until the daylight is almost gone to photograph your nail polish. Oh well, I will try to be more on top of things next time! Which color is your favorite?
Nuance retails for $5.99 and is only available at CVS and CVS.com.
